DB Searches for Rizvi

DMP’s Additional Commissioner of Police (DB) Mohammad Haroon Or Rashid says legal steps are being taken to bring BNP’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi to book.
“Rizvi is wanted. We have arrested many key figures accused in the case,” he told the media on Sunday in Dhaka.
He said there are numerous charges against Rizvi and he will be arrested quickly.
The DB chief said, how does a sick person announce these movements? If he is really sound, then he can appear in court.
Earlier, Rizvi declared a two-day programme aimed at boycotting the national election and intensifying its non-cooperation movement. He made the announcement during a virtual press conference on December 30.
Rizvi said that the country is facing a looming sense of anarchy attributed to the aspirations of one person to consolidate power.
