Blankets distributed among destitute people in Nilphamari

Nilphamari: Blankets were distributed among the poor and destitute people at ASA Convention Centre in Nilphamari district on Tuesday.
The program was arranged by Prokriti O Jibon Foundation.
A total of 300 blankets were distributed among the poor and helpless people.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Nilphamari district Pankaj Ghosh was present there as the chief guest while Superintendent of Police (SP) Md Golam Sobur , Nilphamari Press Club President Tahnin Haque Boby and Secretary Hasan Rabbi Prodhan attended the programme as the special guest.
Journalists of different print and electronic media were also present.
DC Pankaj Ghosh said, “Prokriti O Jibon Foundation provides various types of assistance to the poor and needy every year. This kind of help and distribution of blankets to the poor and needy deserves praise. I hope their activities will be faster.”
While contacted with Channel i district correspondent Anwarul Alom, he said,
“We arrange this program every year. We believe we will arrange such kind of work in future also. I thank all concerned for concluding the program successfully.”
