Rain lashes capital Dhaka in evening amid cold wave

The commuters in the capital Dhaka have seen drizzle amid the ongoing cold wave. It started raining on Wednesday evening. At this time, although the drizzle occured in Dhaka, it increased the severity of winter a little. Due to the rain, the homegoing commuters have suffered.
Meanwhile, apart from the capital Dhaka, rains also have been lashed in various parts of the country including Khulna, said the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), the country’s Met Office.
According to the weather forecast in the morning, light rain or drizzle is likely to occur at one or two places in Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions. Apart from this, the weather may remain dry with partly cloudy skies elsewhere in the country.
However, moderate to dense fog may fall over the country from midnight to morning and may remain till afternoon at some places. Dense fog may disrupt air traffic, inland waterways, and road connectivity.
