Dinajpur people are shivering of cold as mercury dropped below 10 degrees Celsius for the last one week. The district met office recorded temperature of 5.7 degrees Celsius at 9am on Monday, which was 5.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Primary schools in the district remained closed, while secondary educational institutions were opened today as the temperature of the district increased slightly. Asaduzzaman, in-charge of Dinajpur Met office, said this temperature and cold wave may continue three more days. After that, the temperature will increase. Another one cold wave may hit the district.
Meanwhile, Panchagarh’s Tetulia recorded 6.8 degree Celsius on Monday.
