Fire at BIWTA warehouse in N’ganj

A fire broke out in the warehouse of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) in Narayanganj city around 1:30pm on Saturday.
Fakruddin Ahmed, deputy assistant director of Narayanganj Fire Service and Civil Defence, said that the fire originated at around 1:15pm.
Being informed, seven units of fire fighters from Narayanganj, Hajiganj and adamji stations promptly rushed to the spot and are trying to bring the inferno under control, he added.
