The schools in Bangladesh will remain open for 10 to 15 days during the coming Ramadan.
Bangladesh government has decided to keep all primary schools open for the first 10 days of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, the classes in the government and non-government secondary and junior secondary schools will remain open between March 11 and March 25 during Ramadan.
In two separate press releases, issued on Thursday, the ministries of primary and mass education and education announced these.
The primary and mass education ministry release said that the decision has been taken to check the learning losses of the students.
It also said that the decision has been taken by correcting the list of holidays of the academic calendar for 2024.
The education ministry release said that the academic list of 2024, published in December of the past year, has been partially changed.
