Shamsul Alam has been elected as the president of Bangladesh Film Club (BFF) with 266 votes. His nearest rival is Kamal Md. Kibria Lipu received 204 votes.
All but one of Shamsul Alam’s panel won. Mozaharul Islam Obaid (256), Ashiqur Rahman Nadeem (259), M.A. Kamal (274) Iqbal Hossain Joy (283) Apurba Roy (278) Delwar Jahan Jhantu (315) Md. Abdullah Zeyad (243), Alexander Bo (265), Riana Rahman Polly (246) and Shabnam Parvin (257).
Earlier on Friday (February 17), the organization’s elections was held continuously from 3 pm to 7 pm at BFDC. Two panels participated in this election. They are Samsul Alam-Md. Iqbal Hossain Joy and Kamal Mohammad Kibria Lipu-Atikur Rahman Nadeem.
