Sri Lanka clinched the three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, beating the Tigers by 28 runs in the last and the series deciding match in Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
Earlier, Sri Lanka set a decent target of 175 runs for Bangladesh in the three-match T20I series.
Sri Lanka scored 174 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the stipulated 20 overs, thanks to an 86-run brilliant innings from Kusal Mendis.
Taskin Ahmed and Rishad Hossain picked up two wickets for Bangladesh while Shoriful Islam and Mustafizur Rahman got one each.
To reach the target set by Sri Lanka, Bangladesh managed to score 146 runs losing all wickets in 19.4 overs. On behalf of the Tigers, Rishad Hossain posted a maximum score of 53 runs with 7 sixes.
