2 brothers among 3 killed in Natore road crash

Three people, including two brothers, were killed after being crushed by a truck in Natore’s Singra upazila on Monday.
The accident took place around 12:30 pm on the Bamihal-Durgapur road near Durgapur market of the upazila.
The deceased were Hosne Ara Begum, 45, a resident of Pankurai village under Singra upazila, Imran Hossain, 22, and his brother Rabbi Hossain, 18, of the same village.
Sukash UP chairman Mofazzal Hossain said three passengers were going to Bamihal by an Autovan (Three wheeler). At that time, while the Autovan was getting on the Durgapur regional road, a speeding truck hit it.
The three died on the spot. Another injured was rescued and taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Locals impounded the truck, it’s driver-helper and handed over to police.
Singra Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Kalam confirmed it.
