Zee Cine Awards 2024: Shah Rukh wins Best Actor, thanks Atlee; Jawan and Pathaan sweep awards

New Delhi: Bollywood and TV’s biggest names attended the Zee Cine Awards 2024, on Sunday evening. After making a style statement on the red carpet, they not only swept home awards but also mesmerised the audience with their performance on-stage. Shah Rukh Khan, who won the Best Actor award for his roles in the films Jawan and Pathaan, emerged as the biggest winner of the night. His film Jawan’ took home the biggest awards of the night, including Best Film, Best Story and Best Music. Rani Mukerji, Kartik Aaryan and Bobby Deol were among the other winners of the night. SRK performed at the award after a gap of nine years.
Shah Rukh said in his speech, “I am grateful for considering me good enough for this recognition. I would like to thank Atlee (Jawan director) and his beautiful wife Priya, who left her home in the South and has been living in Mumbai for over four years. In fact, their son Meer was also born in Mumbai. Is film is kamyaabi ka sara shrey Meer ko jana chahiye (The credit for this film goes to Meer). So thank you Atlee and the whole team that has tirelessly worked to make this film.” Dressed in an all-black suit, the actor also made a style statement with his dapper look. His long hair and black shades complemented his look.
