West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee sustained significant injuries in an accident on Thursday, according to her party Trinamool Congress (TMC). She has been hospitalized and is currently receiving treatment.
According to Trinamool sources, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was walking in Kalighat residence premises on Thursday (March 14). At this time he suddenly fell. Injured forehead due to falling forward. Blood started gushing out. He was immediately admitted to SSKM Hospital. The doctors said that the forehead should be stitched, reports Anandabazar Patrika.
According to hospital sources, Mamta’s wounds are quite deep. A CT scan will be done. A medical board is also being constituted. The Chief Minister is under the observation of doctors. BJP state president Sukant Majumder tweeted wishing him a speedy recovery.
