Demra garage fire under control, 14 buses gutted in fire

A fire that broke out on 14 Volvo buses of London Express Paribahan, parked in a garage in Dhaka’s Demra on Monday evening, was brought under control.
Five firefighting units brought the fire under control around 9:48pm.
The fire broke out at 8:50pm on Monday, said Warehouse Inspector Anwarul Islam of Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) headquarters.
On information, firefighting units from Demra Fire Station and Siddique Bazar Fire Station rushed to the spot.
There is no report of casualties yet.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
