A decision of no helmet no fuel approach for the motorcycles across the country was taken on Wednesday.
After a meeting, the road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader made an announcement in this regard.
He also said that from now on no battery run vehicles would run on the capital roads.

‘We also agreed to a proposal to scrap fitness defying vehicles on Dhaka city road to warn the transport owners,’ he added.
The minister attended the first meeting of the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority Advisory Council Committee meeting held at the BRTA Bhaban in the capital on the day.
Obaidul Quader also said that they would not take any new projects now until completing the ongoing ones.
He also asked the officials concerned to hold discussions with the transport owners about their demands regarding continuing their transport business.
At the meeting the Dhaka South City Corporation mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh and Dhaka North City Corporation mayor Md Atiqul Islam were also present, among others.
