The results of the third and final phase of admission to the eleventh grade have been published. Even in the final phase, more than 12,000 students did not get into any preferred college.
Among them, over 700 students, despite having a GPA-5, were not nominated for college admission in the final phase.
The results were published on the central website for eleventh-grade admissions on Friday night.

However, those who did not get into any college despite applying will be given the opportunity to be admitted through an analog (direct) method this time.
Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, the president of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and the chairman of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, said that according to the admission policy, applications were supposed to be taken in three phases.
Even after these three phases, more than 12,000 students did not receive college allocations. Among them, around 700 students had a GPA-5 in the SSC exam.
When asked what decision would be taken regarding them, Tapan Kumar said, ‘It is not possible to say with a single decision. A decision will be made after discussions. However, we do not want any student to be deprived of admission.’
He said that more than 1.6 lakh students have passed the SSC and equivalent exams this year. In contrast, there are about 25 lakh seats available in colleges.

That is, even if all the students are admitted, more than 8 lakh seats are supposed to remain vacant. Even then, the reason for students being denied admission is not getting the preferred college.
