A skilled and honest officer, DIO-1, Zia Md. Mostafiz Bhuiyan, departed from Noakhali on December 3. Everyone shocked by the departure of as an honest officer.
It is known that since this skilled and hardworking police officer joined Noakhali, many slanders that were circulating against the DSB office started changing. Complaints like harassment of all service seekers including passport verification, police clearance and others were not heard from anyone. Many service seekers have been heard expressing their satisfaction with the sincere service of the officers and employees of this office.
Mustafiz Bhuiyan has won the hearts of the people of Noakhali by performing his duties with his dedication, honesty and courage for more than two years in this district. He has made the DSB office a complaint-free service center. This officer’s role was also commendable during the anti-discrimination student-public movement in the July Revolution.

He helped the Superintendent of Police in dealing with the situation without any provocative behavior. He has helped the helpless flood victims who were trapped in water for a long time due to the terrible heavy rains in the past and wants to work for the welfare of humanity throughout his life. Noakhali residents expressed hope that this trend of not being harassed in the police’s passport investigation will continue.
“Sabrina Akhter, a resident of Mirraspur in Begumganj Upazila, said, “After applying for a passport for my one-year-old child to go to Saudi Arabia for Umrah and being stuck for the clearance for the past one month, I told the problem to DIO-1 Sir, and he personally looked into everything and solved my problem within ten minutes. My family will pray for Sir for the rest of my life.”
