  Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting & Information System, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance & Banking, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting & Information System, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance & Banking

  Experience

  • 4 to 6 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Banks, Insurance, Trading or Export/Import, Audit Firms /Tax Consultant, Automobile

  Additional Requirements

  • Age 32 to 45 years

  • Professional certification in VAT & TAX management is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of VAT, TAX laws, and regulations in Bangladesh.At least 4-5 years of experience in VAT & TAX management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple locations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  Responsibilities & Context

  • Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts/registers, cash & bank transaction, received & payment statement.
  • Handle all VAT and TAX-related matters, including calculation, submission, and documentation for the company.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT and TAX regulations, staying up-to-date with any changes in laws and practices.
  • Prepare and file VAT returns, TAX returns, and other statutory reports within the deadlines.
  • Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and external consultants for any VAT or TAX-related inquiries or audits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all VAT and TAX documentation.Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring that all required information is readily available.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure all financial records are in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of VAT and TAX compliance and suggest improvements where necessary.
  • Assist in VAT and TAX planning to optimize the company’s tax position.
  • Prepare various types of report and update regularly.
  • Experience with e-filing and VAT online systems as per NBR requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Bangladesh VAT and tax laws, including the Income Tax Ordinance 1984 and VAT and Supplementary Duty Act 2012.
  • Handling company & personal Tax & VAT planning.Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for Taxation.
  • Ensure the company is fully compliant accounting with Tax, Vat, BOI, RJSC, Internal and External audit.
  • Perform any other duty/responsibilities assigned by higher authorities
