The force has issued this notification for the recruitment of male and female officers in the 85th BMA Special (AMC) and 70th BMA Special (ADC) courses. Online applications have already started. Applications can be submitted until February 8.

General: Candidates who have passed from a government recognized medical/dental college other than Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Dhaka Cantonment, Dhaka will be considered as general candidates.
AFMC: Only candidates who have passed the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Dhaka Cantonment, Dhaka will be considered as AFMC candidates.
Educational Qualification (Minimum):
A. Army Medical Corps (AMC) – (Male/Female):
1. MBBS degree (Government recognized medical college).
2. Internship completion (must have completed internship and submitted internship certificate before joining BMA).
Secondary and Higher Secondary:
a) National Medium: Total GPA 9.00 in SSC and HSC exams (however, GPA not less than 4.50 in any exam).
b) English Medium: Total GPA 9.00 in ‘O’ Level and ‘A’ Level exams (however, GPA not less than 4.50 in any exam); In this case, it is necessary to obtain an Equivalence Certificate by converting it to the conventional GPA of Bangladesh.
B. Army Dental Corps (ADC) – (Male/Female):
1. BDS degree (Government recognized medical/dental college).
2. Internship completion (Internship certificate must be submitted after completing internship before joining BMA).
3. Secondary and Higher Secondary:
a) National Medium: Total GPA 9.00 in SSC and HSC exams (however, GPA not less than 4.50 in any exam).
b) English Medium: Total GPA 9.00 in ‘O’ Level and ‘A’ Level exams (however, GPA not less than 4.50 in any exam); In this case, it is necessary to convert the marks to the conventional GPA of Bangladesh and obtain an Equivalence Certificate.

Age limit: Not more than 28 years as on 1 July 2025 (affidavit not acceptable).
Physical qualifications: For male candidates, height 5 feet 4 inches, chest size 30 inches normal and 32 inches when expanded, weight 57 kg. For female candidates, height 5 feet, chest size 28 inches normal and 30 inches when expanded, weight 48 kg.
