Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today visited the construction works of the under-construction Cox’s Bazar Airport.
During the visit, Superintending Engineer of the Civil Aviation Authority, Aminul Hasib, provided a briefing on the progress of the construction work. Senior civil and military officials were also present to assist and provide additional insights.
Earlier, Chief Adviser Prof Yunus, along with United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, arrived in Cox’s Bazar. A Biman flight carrying Prof Yunus and Guterres landed at Cox’s Bazar Airport at approximately 12:48 pm. Disaster Management and Relief Adviser Faruk E Azam was present at the airport to receive the distinguished guests.
