UN chief António Guterres is set to visit Dhaka for a four-day trip, from March 13 to 16, according to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued on Wednesday.
The ministry said the UN chief office had officially confirmed his visit.

He is coming to Bangladesh at the invitation of Dr Muhammad Yunus, the chief adviser of the country’s interim government.
Additionally, the press release mentions that Chief Adviser’s High Representative on Rohingya Affairs Khalilur Rahman met Guterres in New York on February 7 and handed him the invitation letter.
