Lowest temperature 10.3° recorded at Tentulia

The lowest temperature in the country was recorded at 10.3 degrees Celsius in Panchagarh’s Tentulia upazila on Thursday which is the lowest so far this season.
This temperature was recorded at 9 am by the District Meteorological Department.
The information was given by Rasel Shah, officer-in-charge of Meteorological Department-Class I, Tentulia.
Visiting several places in the upazila on Thursday morning, this correspondent found that entire Tentulia was covered by dense fog. Motor vehicles were moving on city- and village-bound roads switching their lights on. None wanted to come out of their respective houses without necessity. Only the people belonging to low-income group came out their homes for livelihood.
