A fire that broke out at Sukanya Tower in Dhaka’s Science Lab area early today at 1:06 am on Thursday (December 28) has been brought under control.
The fire started from a small shop on the ground floor of the building around 1:06am. Later, Two fire engines rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control around 1:27am. Fire Service duty officer Rashed Bin Khaled has confirmed the matter.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.

Fire Service duty officer Rashed Bin Khaled said, “The fire broke out at 1:06 am.” Upon receiving the news, the fire service units managed to bring the fire under control at 1:27 am. Initially, it is presumed that the incident of fire could be due to a gas explosion in a shop on the lower floor of the building. No casualties have been reported.
