BNP has announced another new programme starting tomorrow (Jan 27).
A procession will start at 2pm from in front of the party’s Nayapaltan headquarters and end at Moghbazar intersection via Kakarail and Malibagh, the party said in a media release on Friday.
BNP’s standing committee members, leaders of all levels and supporters as well as members of its front organisations will participate in the procession.
Earlier, BNP started a two-day black-flag march programme to protest against the increase in commodity prices and demand the release of imprisoned activists.
The BNP boycotted the January 7 election despite repeated assurances from the government for free and fair polls. The Awami League won a comfortable two-thirds majority and retained office for the fourth consecutive term.
